Who is Bonkio Master?

Bonkio Master is an American bonk.io player (note there are two spaces between the name) and YouTuber that was originally an active player on bonk.io and has played on that account since February 2018. His now deleted YouTube account was Mewtwo with 1.7k+ subs. He started an online clan called Legendary Pros. This short clan has died quite after since. He is also nicknamed as BM to set as an acronym for the name.

Origins

Before being on this account, he used to play early 3D platform games, and then after being a bit bored of that he went to play .io games and chose bonk.io. His oldest account bonkiomaster4 was his beginner account in September of 2016. He had stayed under the radar with this account until reaching Level 83 in 2017 when he had met account 7King9. He decided to give away the account to him because by then he started to create his first popular account "Bonkio _ Master", which became well known in December 2017, and was played with until it was hacked and the pass was leaked, however the account hasn't been used much since. It was because of this however, that Bonkio Master was born.

Maps

Bonkio Master's maps were known for having an imprinted "M" logo whenever he created certain maps that were original. His old maps were actually more recognized by the community back then than today. One map, named Bonkio Master Tournament had received 869+ upvotes. It was his first oldest map. He had created various maps, but his highest rated map had been revised from a copied map to an original one. That map was Google Hotel, with 3.8k likes.

However a hacker deleted all of them months later (even though their names were still accessible to recreate new maps at the time), so he decided to switch to another new mapmaking account called, Ziink. He made a few multiple skill-based maps and original maps there. His new mapmaking account has an interesting "Z" design. Most of his maps are around 400 upvotes and were sometimes featured on Quick Play. His new account Bonk2io Master has his most upvoted map, Don't Touch The Enderman where you must capture and fight others while trying not to touch the Enderman standing in the middle. The map is mostly dedicated to Minecraft.

His favorite map is Classic by Gladi. His second is DAC (Duck and Cover), because it is also skill oriented, and most of the DAC hosts were friendly. DEATH/Just Fight are his main strength-based maps. Bonkio Master originally played skill maps in the early days of his account which vastly consisted of Danger Zone and Juicy Fruit by RoctorDush, En wie niet springt...2 and the Gap by Querp, 1 by raspy 667, and multiple other maps that gained his interest but were proven to be good.

Gameplay

Bonkio Master is quite skilled. One major level gain was going from Level 70 - Level 91 within one month from excessive training. He used to play 4-8 hours a day on bonk. On rare occasions, he would play for 12 hours. This tends to be one of the reasons why he did level up quickly. Another is spending most of his matches on quick play. He has reached at least 95 wins on quick play at the most before sudden game crashes. Most of his wins were from active gameplay with other players for a long period of time. He believes that players shouldn't farm xp, and hasn't done so ever since starting his account. He has had his time of playing with some experienced players however this doesn't stop him from respecting their gameplay tactics and traits.

Challenges

Hackers were known to have caused Bonkio Master's account to have a glitched skin slot and deleted friend list, causing him to stop playing for 2 days. That hack was fixed during its time by kklkkj but the pass was leaked when he hit level 115. The account was banned sometime in December of 2019 because a hacker created an inappropriate in-game title using it. However Bonkio Master did expect this to happen, eventually due to recent issues.

Bonkio Master quit his original account on October 16th, 2019 on his account to satisfy some new content on his channel. Bonkio Master has confirmed it on his server however he has stated besides being quite happy with this accomplishment, he does not play as frequently in Bonk 1 or 2 as he used to. He also was ranked #30 in The Ranker's Classic Leaderboard, however over time his rank has slowly diminished to #46. Personally the Master would rank himself around the #46-#57 range at most in terms of skill, which he doesn't mind.

Reputation

As with bonkiomaster4, 7King9 had used the account giving it a toxic reputation compared to its subtle creation. Over time Bonkio Master strayed away from this account because of his other accounts and due to the fact that there was much drama related with it. However he would later meet up with this account's impersonation later leading up to 7King9 creating Bonk3io Master to rival with Bonkio Master's "fame".

An established rumor was said that Bonkio Master knew how to hack. However during 2018, the rumor was only proved true to him being able to demonstrate his use of the no name hack originally. This was the only legitimate hack he would use to show to friends he knew. Sometimes even using it to show other random people the hack. To this day however, those hacks haven´t resurfaced.

On November 7th 2019, Bonkio Master became the Discussions Moderator and the Content Moderator of the Bonk.io WIki.

He is also well known for creating Bonk.io The Movie which was a previously deleted movie on YouTube made in 2019, about a player named PowerBonk and his friends trying to prevent a hacker named The White Star who was trying to destroy the game. This movie had received 1.7k views at the time, with 57 likes and 6 dislikes. It received a fair amount of criticism from the community, including the creator of the game, Chaz. In 2020, it was announced that a remake of the movie was to be made, which eventually received the title Kingdoms of Bonk: Volume I. However, following Bonkio Master's disappearance in late 2021, the movie was indefinitely postponed in January of 2022. The director of the project was GreenHood, and the Co-Director was The Llama.

Legacy

December 9th, 2020 was the year Bonkio Master decided altogether to take a large break from the game, specifically for 5 months. The reason was after matching up to his former account's level which was 115, a day before that he had reached this goal as that was his intended purpose for playing on this second main, but he still had another account that had not achieved this similar goal. Currently though, the totals for his entire account level on all 3 accounts is Level 168.

Bonk2io Master's maps live on in Bonk 2 and will still be playable but he has decided to stop making maps. His old maps on Ziink's account will also be playable on Bonk 2. Overall he suggests to newcomers to make use of the game if they intend on gaining skill or a high level. He participated in what he considered to be his last tournament with AA1134 as the winner. Bonkio Master has participated to show the capabilities of his skill however, in terms of that he has not participated in a tournament since 2018. With that he highly respects all players for their sheer skill and effort put into playing above the standards.

Bonkio Master now focuses more on animating as a personal hobby, and has figured to consider that playing Bonk.io at that high level may not be for him. As for accounts, he has decided to hang his levels up but before that reach Level 125 on his second main, then retire from playing Bonk entirely.
