Player Notability Criteria[]
Below is a reference guide for determining the notability of players. Note that with other types of articles, such as maps and in-game features, it is necessary to send a message to a Bonk.io staff member for confirmation before creating an article.
A player meets notability if at least two of the following qualifications in bold are met1:
Level Qualification: (1) Has a combined level of 200 or greater (Bonk.io Community Discord verification, if needed) OR (2) has been ranked in the Top 50 of the Level Leaderboard.
Historical Skill Qualification: Has been ranked on (1) the Classic Skill Leaderboard [Condition: Any mention], (2) Grapple Skill Leaderboard [Condition: Cited as a honourable mention.], or (3) Football Skill Leaderboard [Condition: Top 15 in the All-Time leaderboard.]
Current Skill Qualification: (1) Has a ranking on any MMR Leaderboard at the end of a season, including Classic 1v1s Flat, Classic 1v1s Bounce, Arrows 1v1, or Grapple 1v1. [Condition: Must have "Gold" rank or higher in some section at the end of a season.].
Community Qualification: Has had a position as a staff member on (1) the Bonk.io Community Discord, (2) Bonk Leagues Discord, (3) Bonk.io Wiki, OR (4) Bonk.io Reddit.
Map Popularity Qualification: (1) Has a combined total of at least 10k upvotes amongst verifiable accounts. This amount only includes non-copied maps.
Map Quality Qualification: (1) Has appeared on the Picks List at least twice, (2) has at least two original maps that were in some curated Quick Play rotation at some point after January 2021, OR (3) has appeared at least once on either the Community Picks, Chaz's Picks, Fresh List, or Arrows Picks.
1 If a player only meets one or none of the above-mentioned bold criteria, then their eligibility for an article can be appealed to the Bonk.io Wiki staff for consideration.
