'Best of Grapple' was a leaderboard created in 2020 and closed in 2022. It was a highly competitive leaderboard with the goal of accurately ranking active players from the Simple 1v1 community based on their Grapple skill. This leaderboard had a top 10/15/20 format which was often edited by moderators Fog771/roseFog, Francy3643, AdrianGamer2, and others. You can find the link to it at the 'Discontinued Leaderboards' section of this page.
However, the leaderboard closed due to the fact that at the time, many active players had quit the game and there weren't enough competitive players throughout the Simple 1v1 community.
There have been other leaderboards created by different members of the community to keep a modern ranking of players.
Today, there are 2 actively moderated leaderboards.

Winner of the 2nd Grapple World Cup from 2022 (2nd in the 1st world cup from 2021), created the first official leaderboard, named and created some moves that some people loved to use. He was also the one who transformed simple 1v1 into something better. He is known by many as the best of all time being unmatched by anyone in the old simple 1v1 days (Mid 2020-Mid 2021). Spidy was Top 1 on the Leaderboard when it was first created, being a powerful player at that time, a true pioneer of Grapple. He still plays to this day, although not nearly as much as he did before.

She has reached Top 1 multiple times and she won 1st World Cup. Francy was also top 1 for months uninterrupted. She still plays and is still considered as one of the best players today also specializing in Classic and Arrows.
AdrianGamer2/Mapple_[]
He was one of the main organizers of Grapple World Cup 1 and 2, and is helping with the 3rd GWC. He placed 3rd in the 1st World Cup and 2nd in the 2nd World Cup. Adrian also became arguably the most popular player in the Grapple community throughout all time, reaching top 1 for several months total. His account passwords were leaked. (More Info)

Mirr0rs has always been around the top 1 of the Leaderboard. After only a few months of playing, he became Top 1. He started playing in mid-2021. He has also stayed at the top 1 of the leaderboard for over 2 years, being consistently the top player for the longest time. (More Info)

Neonis started playing in March-April 2021. He united the Russian community in 2021 and was engaged in playing with him in simple 1v1. A wonderful player of Simple 1v1 who once took the top 2. Previously, he had the largest Russian-language server in the discord for Simple 1v1 where many Russian pro players were gathered.

NTOP is the Streamer/Host of the Grapple World Cup 1 and 2. Currently, a 3rd edition of the GWC is being developed for summer of 2024. NTOP is currently the most popular active Bonk streamer. Having done streams not only playing the game but also deobfuscating Bonk's source code. At present, he also streams the game hosting rooms with slots above 8 players. Reached top 1, was top 1 for 6 months in a row. He participated in 3rd Grapple World Cup and reached 2nd place there. Kup was the only player to break Mirr0rs's streak of being on top 1 for 2 years in a row after defeating him in a duel in 1st January 2024. He also defeated a lot of skilled players in his prime like francy3643 and grynn. Probably the best player of autumn 2023 - winter 2024.
