A Guest is a user that does not have a level. This feature allows people to play without an Account. However, there are some limitations to Guests.

Limitations of Guests[]

If an entry as a " * " at the end of it, then it was only exclusive to the Flash-based Bonk.io, and is not present within the current HTML5-based Bonk.io.

  • Cannot gain experience (XP) after playing on a map
  • Cannot "friend" other users, does not have access to the Friends List.
  • Cannot save Maps (also called Levels).
  • Cannot save Skins between game sessions.
  • Cannot vote (like/dislike) on a Map.
  • Cannot record a match to the main menu with record, by saying "record" in the in-game chat.*
  • Cannot set a Custom Room name.*
  • Does not have the ability to record matches for themselves then to view them later in the Replays. *

Purpose of Guests[]

It is there only to introduce a new user to Bonk.io. The sole intent of this feature is to help a person learn the basics of the game before making an account.

Trivia[]

  • Within all versions of the Flash-based and HTML5-based Bonk.io, naming yourself "Chaz" will instead name you to "imposter" to avoid impersonation of Chaz.
  • Within the Flash-based Bonk.io, when creating a custom room game, it would set the game name to "Room [number between 1 and 999] " An example would be "Room 436" or "Room 74".
  • Within the HTML5-based Bonk.io, when logged in as a Guest, the Tutorial will appear at the top of the Main Menu options, rather than at the bottom.
