Hexagon of Death is one of two maps maps made by Crabiki that were featured within Chaz's Picks.
History[]
Published between late August 2016 and early September 2016, the map featured a large part of its original design. Shortly after its release, it was put into Chaz's Picks, riding a surge in popularity that others maps that were featured had as well.
By October 2016, the map had gained several thousand upvotes, and was ranked as the 21st highest rated map within the original Bonk.io.

This is an image of the map within the Level Select, about a month after its release. It shows how the map originally had two yellow rectangles of equal size within the hexagon, rather than two red rounded rectangles that differ in size.
The map continued to grow at a likewise pace comparable to other maps with the same popularity surrounding it, eventually reaching into the tens then hundreds of thousands, where it stands today.
Gameplay[]
As mentioned in the name of the map, the map consists of a spinable hexagon that players can rotate with their weight. Two of the six sides are black, killing players who make contact with it. However, the other four rectangles within it, being green can be bounced off by players. Within the hexagon, there are two red rounded rectangles of different lengths that can be bounced between in order to avoid risking contact with the hexagon.
Possible Tips[]
- Try to bounce between the two rounded rectangles whenever possible, in order to avoid contact with the hexagon, while trying to knock others off them.
- If fallen onto the hexagon, try to climb back onto the two rounded rectangles, or try to time jumps over the black rectangles of the hexagon to continue surviving. If any others are down there as well, try to intentionally rotate it so they fall into a black rectangle.
