This article provides a list of and gives information about some of the most skilled and notable skin makers in Bonk. This list, compiled by HimariMiddleton, was based on collecting different opinions from the game's community, and evaluating skin makers based on academic criteria (including technical skill and artistic cognition). Technical skills are fundamental. Artistic cognition includes one's own creations, style, and senses of aesthetics. Individuals who published their skins through Bonk-related Discord servers and met 2 of the criteria mentioned above (having votes from the community and higher level craftsmanship) are listed on this page.


Disclaimer: The list does not refer to any player's rank, and ordinal numbers are given only to help listing. The images given reflect the player's editing ability, style, and do not include every one's skins or following any chronological order. There are 12 skins for a player on this page, therefore only those who have at least 12 skins are considered.


For this list, factors other than community preference, skin maker's editing skills, and style and/or genres, are not considered.


Each skin creator listed is approved to include their own lines, due to the fact that some of them are otherwise not necessarily notable enough to warrant a complete wiki page, and this article itself has to be informative. Any note written under a creator should comply with the factors mentioned above.

1. TamHill[]

TH12

TamHill is an experienced skin maker known for his attractive choice of colors, and has the most color transition skins in Bonk io. The genres he works on vary from self-made logos, objects, patterns to faces and figures, but mostly decorations and patterns. His special technique of multiplying the same shape has contributed significantly to his depiction, creating various illusions of colors mixing and transferring smoothly. TamHill's recent skins still have that technique, and with better arrangements his artworks become more unpredictable and more complicated. He is also very clever with his shapes, as he has found many ways to quickly create what he wants. Moreover, his art style is often abstractive, tending to have many curvy, flowing forms for graceful and harmonious images.

2. xciix / Thetrueninja101[]

Xciix new

Xciix is a scenery lover and a Bonk.io player who specializes in designing skins. His major topic is natural landscape, besides there are minor themes about object, faces or patterns which shown his diversity of interests. Technically, his approach to skin making is quite unique, since he often take advantages of splats, grunge or any textured shapes to create scenes that seems realistic when observed from far. In addition, some of his works appear like they were painted with brush strokes, though their constructions were done with separate pre-made shapes. Through his posts on Bonk io Discord severs, it is evident that his artistic skill changes slightly forward to be more aesthetically idealized, resulting in simpler and effectively utilized shape options. Therefore, his forms depiction become more refined and crisp, combined with selected color tones to set up mood.

3. wizardlypig[]

Wizardlypig is a highly skilled skin maker in Bonk io, with all of his skins being clean and simple, yet complete, clear and accurate. His manner is to use the least effort to achieve the look he wants, without having any extra steps for polishing or shading. In fact, the style he uses is minimalism, where the most important features are kept, the "spine" of a thing matters, not its details. There were many times he only took line art, or a silhouette, to use. Even so, there were several times he added textures to create depth and avoid the boredom of emptiness. In conclusion, while wizardlypig adored the act of effectively using few details like minimalists did, he still managed well in avoiding meagerness, and this made his artworks become dedicated such that others could hardly copy.

4. 69pooper[]

In making skins, 69pooper is a good example. He is capable of depicting famous figures, such as the rook (chess), flying dove, muscular arm, the Himeji castle, logos, letters,... including Kirby as his favorite character, and a few neat patterns in his series "Delusion" .The flexibility in his method allows him to design, shade and colorize variety artworks, with different viable adjustments. For example, he used black silhouette to simplify and illustrate the castle to avoid surpassing shape limit, whereas the blue crown is more visibly detailed. In general, his style used to have black background and carefully illustrated solid shapes, which later changed to be more atmospheric and vivid that matches specific story telling. Following that, a new category of natural scenery has been developed, introduced 69 pooper's new observation in technical art skill.

5. Styroforum[]

Colorful, diverse, creative and joyful are the main features for every skin he made. He has created many artworks in game, and experimented with many interesting shapes merged with fresh, dynamic color tones. Styroforum is subtle in depicting three-dimensional forms, as he constructed and divided values quickly-witted. He understood well the relationship between colors and lighting in nature, therefore he could add depictions freely that somewhat reduced the shape limitation effectively. In the 3rd skin of the image above, Styroforum unified the sun and the cloud as grunge, and discriminated them only by colors. Additionally, he is skillful in describing natural landscapes with his usual method. In summary, Styroforum’s works have always been engaging, including his own creations and transformations in designs, which show his delightful and likeable art style.

6. sir tiger[]

Sir tiger is best known for having proficient editing skills, owning ample skins about various things. He has multiple ways to make a skin, including cel shading, color transferring and portraying. He has fully added mid-tones, shadows and highlights for cel shading, also his structures are well balanced, along with suitable saturation. In other words, sir tiger has an excellent understanding of fundamentals, he can manipulate different techniques to create highly accurate artworks. Interestingly, there are some of his skins related to video games, describing certain characters or items, which made him more commonly known. Some of his most significant artworks are the Pokémon ball series (including different Pokémon balls), Among Us logo, and Hollow Knight.

7. Billioninjoe[]

When it comes to Billioninjoe, his contributions to the world of skinmaking truly impressed viewers. He did not portray something so distinctive or abstractive to amaze people, but focused on noticeable, understandable things, such as basketball, lightning, ninja, animal or face. On the other hand, his shading and constructing process is very special, including the usage of curling, dynamic or textured shapes. For example, the “Motorcycle helmet” (the 2nd skin in the image above) has flames as to shade, and even to describe the adventurous feeling of speed. He also zoomed in on plenty of shapes to somehow take advantage of small details and discover unique uses of shapes, such as the default shape Skull has many scratches that may look like lightning. Overall, Billioninjoe’s skins are often lively and very pleasing for any viewer.

8. AgarDastro[]

AgarDastro new

AgarDastro is one of the notable skin makers in the list. His style is somewhat mysterious, obscure and symbolic. As seen in the image above, there are many symbols or drawings that describe complex and abstractive meanings. In fact, AgarDastro’s skins are cosmic, with relationships to rules and phenomena in the universe, such as the separation of light, stars, planets, dimensional beings, burning or chemical reactions. On the other hand, his skins might describe symbols and illustrations about technology, using solid flat structures. His color choice of monotone, black background has brought to viewers a feeling of neutrality and scientific thoughts. Other than that, AgarDastro has done a few delightful logos, with more colors and diversity brought to use.

9. FerrariCosine57[]

One of the most creative skin makers in Bonk is FerrariCosine57. His rich visual library allows him to easily stylize and simplify forms simultaneously with choosing colors, with each artwork being emotional and artistic. He once used zoomed straight lines to make clouds, and shoe stamps for grass and leaves. In particular, his construction is truly well-developed, he can catch and portray plenty of complex, dynamic things, such as an image of floating liquid, the impossible triangle, or the cosmic illustration. In addition, by using harmonious mixtures of tones, his color choice has always been attractive, impressing many viewers at the first glance. The themes he works on are wide, as his arts are both actual and abstractive.

10. Voodka / O Void[]

Voodka, as a 2D culture hobbyist, has brought his thoughts into making art on Bonk io skins. His common categories are characters, creatures and letters. Looking firstly at his character depictions, he frequently makes the head of the character, sometimes with only an eye as a specific facial feature. This is good handling, since the number of shapes used is limited. Other times he has done making hairstyles in multiple ways, as he is interested. About creatures, he has shown a good understanding of the fundamentals, because clear structures can be seen. Voodka also has many letter skins, including Japanese. Remarkably, most of Voodka's skins remained clear and simple, proving his portraying skill to be solid and adequate.

World of Planes is a skin maker that strongly favours the theme of space, where everything floats on its own. His most noticeable and only series is his collection of different planets in the Solar System, each skin representing a planet at the size of a standard Bonk player (maximum size). Besides that, he has done several space-related artworks, including pulsar, plane (the head) and the space gate. Vice versa, World of Planes also adores animals on the ground, so he created a few skins about them, with the skin of Doge being his most notable. His skin editing technique is mostly about putting on arrays of shapes, along with creating contrast and shadows.

12. Lemon Juice_89[]

Lemon Juice_89 is a smart skin creator, the "logo maker" of Bonk io. By studying from famous logos, he found the way to make his works look prominent that meets the expectation of other players. He copied a significant number of common logos to train his skill, therefore, later he has come up with several artworks on his own, which include a few logos about lemons that represent him. Overall, Lemon Juice_89's skins are relatively simple, yet show his professional manner in designing. His remarks are the smart solving of how to achieve adequate skins just with easy techniques, and his unique skin which has multiple parallel straight lines that could hardly be made through common skills.

13. Ninja Master 3[]

Ninja Master 3 is a long-time skin maker. He carefully chose models to make his skins noticeable, clear, and are not too difficult to portray. For example, about birds, he found that they are familiar animals to most people, so he has done several skins about them, using general construction for main features (head, wings, torso) and one solid colour. It can be seen that his style is elusive, since he enjoys having improvisational experiments to test different techniques out, and is often not worried about the outcome. Ninja Master 3's strongest aspect is his ability to match people’s needs, therefore, many players are pleased using his skins in game. The famous artwork "Elemental ninja" set him apart from other players, which truly proved his artistic vision and creativity.

14. NotARagingPeep[]

NotARagingPeep is a 2D cultural lover who uses the Bonk Leagues Skin Editor mostly for creating animation-related skins. Initially, he worked on various themes, including items, emojis and faces. Later, his main style of making anime-esque skins appeared (most being Deep-Sea Prisoner's characters), releasing many different skins illustrating facial features. To accompany said characters, his process for the face consists of 3 main parts: hair, face and mouth. The hair has cel-shaded rear hair and front hair. The eye has eyelashes and irises, flexibly adjusting to the source whenever needed. The mouth is either a simple shape or a group of layered shapes. To ensure source accuracy, he often utilizes enlarged versions of various shapes. Afterward, he further expanded his applications, continuing to apply similar direction in the creation of different sorts of topics.

15. SvenH[]

SvenH is quite good at making skins. Not only did he stylized forms to match his target, but also used multiple colors. Noticeably, parallel straight lines can be frequently seen on his skins, which is a part of his hobby, because they are easy to take advantage of, easy to look good, and can be used as both construction or decoration. In addition, his skins often remain flat, without any shades added, but still work well because of good structure. SvenH enjoys the theme of retro - an old musical style from the 1980s, and has shown his favorite by recreating some noticeable images about the style, including various parallel color lines. Overall, SvenH has only worked well on the aspect of making abstractive symbolic arts, otherwise his skill at other aspects is unknown.

16. G3nius[]

G3nius, in the aspect of making skins, is the strangest among many. The specialty of his style is the unusual, intricate arrangement of shapes. He often took advantage of multiple pre-rendered shapes (special shapes that look like finished artworks just by standing on their own) to somehow merge them into a new illustration. His method is for sure unique, artistic to do, yet extremely hard to perform, and requires countless experiments to see which and how those small random details can work together as an elaborated figure. Despite that, G3nius still managed well to have finished multiple artworks using his own method. Although his skins might hardly match the common taste of art, they are still some of the most valuable artworks remaining in Bonk io’s society that converge enough all traits to define the notability.

17. GayfishDeluxe[]

GayfishDeluxe is a person who loves creating skins related to modern day cartoons. His main category is faces, where he made fan arts and some self-made creations. Typical characteristics can be seen through his artworks: carefully depicted eyes, plausible facial proportions, and tasteful expressions. In particular, he used different shapes to make the eyes frame, there are semicircle, circle, ellipse, or snake-eyed. Sometimes he added extra details such as nose-position shadow, face shadow and light acne as emphasis for the character’s expression. In addition, his choice of color is really pleasing to look at, there is none of too dark or too light tone, so everything he edited should be clear. Besides faces, GayfishDeluxe has also done several props with nice effects.

18. Jahlarni[]

Jahlarni is a popular skin maker in Bonk. He has done a large number of creations about various races of animals. His skin editing is decent, he can take layout of a model well, along with constructing, stylizing and adding colors. In some skins such as cat and dragon, he cleverly posed the head of each animal, this can help create dynamic artworks as well as saving up shapes. His ability working with color has been shown clearly in his series “chameleon”, where he made a white frame of the animal and then added color transitions inside. The 7th image is an example, the chameleon created from the frame fits inside the circle, and has different color lines. In fact, Jahlarni enjoys portraying animals using simple and clear structures. He has also finished other skins about logos, props, and characters.

19. Just Fights[]

Just Fights is among the best at simplifying forms when it comes to skins. As seen from his artworks, he sometimes did not fully add details, and built forms based on the overall picture. For instance, he made the image of the tsunami just by a few whips, he constructed the house with a few arrays, even a full figure depiction is done with a silhouette and facial features as highlights. What’s more, his stylization and color options gave his skins graceful, lively looking, which are great traits to have in any artwork. Just Fights' favorite theme is the images he sees in daily life, such as houses, maps, boxes and logos, so he has done artworks about them in his own style: generous figures merged with bright colorful tones. In conclusion, Just Fights’s style brought to viewers a familiar, convenient and delightful feeling.

20. HimariMiddleton / Tessai[]

HimariMiddleton is a skilled and meticulous skin maker in Bonk, whose top priority is to develop the accuracy as high as possible. He often edit with clear values and complete structures to create illusions of depth, instead of cutting down on details and simplifying the general picture. This result in decent illustrative artworks that resembled well the referenced models. Remarkably, he owns a significant number of original optical illusion skins, all of which has been done in Bonk Leagues Skin Editor and within the shape restriction of 16. To achieve the outlook of forms that seemed impossible to be built, he applied special techniques to cope with shape limitation, such as arranging shape layers in a way that they overlap into a pattern that the model represents. Furthermore, HimariMiddleton set his sights on common figures that have not been made yet, or have been done to the extent that he could improve.
