Hyperion1, widely regarded as one of the best Bonk.io’s players in the world, began his journey in early summer 2016. Initially playing as a guest, he later created his main account, settling on the name "Hyperion1". Early on, Hyperion honed his skills in Quick Play but faced his first major challenge against raspy 667, who offered him valuable advice.
As Hyperion leveled up, he encountered BonkMan2k16, who became a key mentor, teaching him advanced classic play strategies. To find stronger opponents, Hyperion started hosting “you can’t beat me” rooms, meeting talented players like CatAndTie, 100100100100100, and Omniball, who helped further refine his abilities.
Later, Hyperion became known for his “Winner Picks” rooms, where he played against top-tier players such as TGVin, Morva, G3nius, and Squawk. With their help, he climbed the ranks to earn a spot on the Ranker's Top 50 Skill Leaderboard.
Hyperion’s Philosophy: Skill Over Level[]
Hyperion historically prioritized skill over leveling. However, a friendly leveling race with nanoFlowcell at level 130 shifted his focus. This competition spurred Hyperion to dominate Quick Play rooms, but his real ascent came with the release of Bonk2 and Arrows Quick Play.
The Race to Level 200[]
In late 2020, Hyperion found himself in a close, unofficial race to level 200 with SCP Foundation. On December 7, 2020, the race culminated in a dramatic showdown. Despite an intense effort, including a 27-win streak, Hyperion narrowly lost the race, with SCP reaching level 200 minutes before him. Hyperion, however, took solace in finishing with dignity, avoiding defeat by a hated Meta clan member.
The 2022 Arrows Tournament: An Underdog Victory[]
In 2022, Hyperion joined an elite Arrows Tournament hosted by the Bonk.io Arrows Community Discord. Battling against the best players, including Ozmon—widely considered the top Arrows player—Hyperion delivered a stunning performance.
After dominating early rounds, Hyperion faced Ozmon in the finals. Although Ozmon won the first two maps decisively, Hyperion staged an incredible comeback, forcing a tiebreaker on Battlegrounds 2. In a nail-biting match, Hyperion secured a 5-4 victory, cementing his status as a Bonk.io legend.
The Domination of Death Arrows[]
Hyperion1's Death Arrows strategy combined aggressive offense with calculated defense. He excelled at controlling space, often cornering opponents and forcing them into making mistakes. His arrows seemed to find their mark effortlessly, eliminating players with surgical precision.
Beyond his aim, Hyperion was a master of survival. In Death Arrows, staying alive while capitalizing on chaos is key. It wasn’t uncommon for him to dominate rooms, racking up double-digit win streaks against even the best players.
The Lyrical Death of 5CR34M[]
In 2024, Scream, a known toxic troll, created a terrible ai spoken diss track about Hyperion1, insulting not just his bonk.io skills but also his daughters and his wife. "To be honest, I thought it was really quite funny that this kid thinks about me on the reg so much that he had to take time out of his day just to write a song about it. Quite the compliment if you ask me" said Hyperion. "I will humbly give him the respect of a reply back, hold my beer".

Influence on the Death Arrows Meta[]
Hyperion’s impact on the Death Arrows community is undeniable. In 2021, Hyperion1 became the owner of the fast growing Bonk.io Death Arrows Community Discord Server. He helped setup the first true running leaderboard for a mode and cultivated a competitive server where the best of the best could go head to head battling for bragging rights.
His dominance also inspired a new wave of players. Many credit their improvement to studying Hyperion’s gameplay or directly competing against him in his iconic “DA - 1v1” rooms, where he often challenged anyone brave enough to take him on.
Bringing the Community together with Bonkboards.io[]
The Bonk.io community has always thrived on competition, creativity, and camaraderie.
