Samm9 is a well-known player known for creating multiple successful art maps. One of their maps, A E S T H E T I C WAVES, is featured as part of the Community Picks. They also created other well-known maps, such as CrystalDimension and Lapis Lazuli's Tower.
A portion of Samm9's maps are redesigns of other player's work. Though such map-making practices are often viewed as copying, most of the remasters added a meaningful artistic effect to otherwise simple design concepts. As a result, a considerable portion of these map recreations are seen as fair usage by the community.
