Simple was a game mode in HTML5-based Bonk.io's development, being experimented during Bonk 2 Beta, having been added on June 3rd, 2020 and was removed on December 23rd, 2020 due to a general lack of usage by players. In this mode, there was only the ability to move around with the Movement Keys. Features such as the Heavy Key and the Special Key did not work in this mode. As a result, game-play of this mode is vastly simplified, it was to help new players learn the basics of playing the game.
Accessibility on Bonk 2[]
When still available, it was accessible to play in Custom Games, with the change mode button, with it being the second last of the list, following the addition of Football Mode within Bonk 2 Beta, where it was placed after Simple Mode. The feature is also accessible in Quick Play, where you were able to play a continuous sequence of five maps in a cycle.
There was also once a Quick Play version for this mode, where there were only five maps featured. These maps are still today all owned by Chaz, named under "Simple Basic (1-5)", but are all privated, making it near-impossible today, given that the Quick Play for the mode that they were featured in is no longer present within the game.
